Job Posting: Maintenance Technician  Experience The EMBREY Way by joining our dynamic Property Management team as a Maintenance Technician at Cannery at the Packing District.  As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to ensure that buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and in good condition.  Responsibilities  * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems * Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances * Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies * Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed * Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies * Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs * Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly * Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary * Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed Qualifications  * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus * Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or a related field * Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs * Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces * Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures * Valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required) * Strong attention to detail and time management skills * Good communication and interpersonal skills Required Testing  * Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR   Position Type  * Hourly Rate - Non-Exempt, Based on Experience * Full-time * Competitive pay & benefits (including healthcare & 401k) Position Location  * Orlando, FL; Reporting: direct to Community Manager Choose EMBREY:        Join an industry-leading team where we believe our people are our most important investment.
