RMSpumptools is seeking an ambitious Maintenance Technician located in Malton, UK. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting the Production department with organising & maintaining test facilities as well as the engineers in the electrical penetrators & connectors engineering division to ensure the safety of the sites and ensure Production equipment is maintained to its full potential.
This role is a part time role - working 3 days per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• HND/equivalent qualification or qualified by experience.
• Safety first mindset
• Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems, ideally including PID controllers.
• Interpersonal qualities, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willing and able to work as part of a team.
• Confident and resilient in problem solving, critical thinking and decision making to support continuous improvement.

• To support the Production department with equipment maintenance and improving manufacturing methods.
• maintenance of shop floor equipment
• Performing the Inspection and servicing of production tooling such as but not limited to;
• Pressure pumps,
• Mould tools,
• Airlines,
• Heater boxes
• Compressors
• Minor site maintenance work.
• Support the production department in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Work closely with QHSE to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe and controlled manner.
• Assist the Engineering Department on project work or other areas needing mechanical/electrical intervention
