This role is critical in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and clients. Key Responsibilities: Quickly turn over vacant apartments to ensure units are prepared, maintained, and ready for occupancy in a timely manner.. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and systems promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities. Preventative and routine property maintenance, basic painting and lock repair Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall smooth operation of the facilities. Maintain the exterior and interior of properties, including snow removal, to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Qualifications Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred. Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical field. Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems. Experience in a healthcare or facility management environment is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and operate machinery. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes. Other Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and follow direction from the supervisor Must be able to successfully complete a background check. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain minimum essential automobile insurance coverage.
