You will participate in an on-call rotation with the rest of the maintenance team. * Execute unit turnovers and make-readies for new residents to meet move-in deadlines with high-quality standards. * Proactively maintain the exterior and common areas of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and shared spaces, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. * Perform swimming pool maintenance and ensure compliance with applicable health and safety standards, where applicable. * Identify and address maintenance issues proactively to minimize disruptions and improve property efficiency. * Consistently adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies. Promptly report any hazards or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel. * Utilize property resources, tools, and supplies efficiently and safely, ensuring proper care, maintenance, and inventory of equipment. * Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to meet property goals and foster a culture of teamwork and support. * Maintain the required uniform and ensure a professional and approachable appearance at all times. * Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.   What You’ll Bring: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Basic English communication skills to follow instructions and interact with residents and team members. * Previous general maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, strongly preferred. * EPA Certification (Type I and II) preferred; may be required in some locations. * Basic computer skills, including the ability to use maintenance management software and email systems. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. * Ability to frequently walk and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift/move loads up to 50 lbs. and use a ladder. * Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property and have reliable transportation to participate in on-call duties.
