We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong electrical experience, with the ability to work.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and cooling equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
  • Preventative maintenance servicing to air compressors, repairs, upgrades and installations to various air compressors and compressed air systems.
  • Inspecting, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing various pumps, gear reducers & drives, motors, shaft seals, bearings, and mechanical seals.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and diagrams for effective troubleshooting.
  • Fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
