Maintenance Technician

We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Engineer to join our successful and growing business. This is a permanent full time position.

• You will report to the Engineering Manager.
• You will be required to cover all aspects of Engineering on site, ensuring that equipment, services and utilities are available to meet Production and legislative/legal requirements.
• Responsible for installing, maintaining and carrying out improvements to all equipment.
• Ensure a quick response to breakdowns and call outs.
• Communicate with all departments and ensure smooth running of all operations.
• Follow Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene standards.
• Ensure Maintenance Logs and Schedules are completed correctly and on time.
• Stock control of necessary parts.
• Assist with any projects as required by Engineering Manager.
• Any other duties requested by the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship with relevant mechanical/electrical qualification.
• Knowledge of PLC’s would be advantageous.
• Previous experience working in a Food Factory.
• Experience working on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Problem solver.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works well under pressure.
• Driving license and own transport.
• Individuals seeking career progression.
