About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week on a three-rotational shift pattern, ensuring you have variety and balance in your working schedule. Shift Patterns: * Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 07.00am – 3.00pm * Mid Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3.00pm – 11.00pm and Friday 10.30pm finish * Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11.00pm – 07.00am Competitive Salary Package: £43,806 (depending on experience), plus shift allowance (£105 per week for Mid and £157.50 per week for Night), overtime, annual bonus, and a Cummins Reward Scheme. What You’ll Do: As a Maintenance Technician, your role will be pivotal to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. You’ll: * Safely undertake a full range of maintenance duties within a complex manufacturing environment. The role will be predominantly working in the Assembly, Test and Trim areas ensuring key equipment is returned to production in a timely manner. * Fault finding and repair of plant and machinery including automated lines, nut runners, test cells. * Following job completion all equipment must be functioning correctly and efficiently. * Timely completion of PPMs to schedule. * Ensure a timely response to events. * Review equipment with a view to pre-empt and prevent equipment failure. * Raise requisitions for equipment spares in line with company cost, quality and delivery requirements and submit to supervisor for approval. * Respond within skill boundaries for emergency procedure events. * Liaise closely with Operation’s Supervisors on priorities and initiate analysis of data to support corrective engineering work. * Support team operation and assist/train others as appropriate. * Competently follow safe systems of work to complete tasks including working in confined space/at heights, LOTO where necessary.
