Description Maintenance Technician Job Summary: Cypressbrook Multifamily Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! Qualifications: Ability to work 40 hours per week; including on-call weekends and evenings during a rotating schedule HVAC Certified 1-3 years' experience in facility maintenance, and mechanical repair required. Requirements Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units (HVAC) Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, carpentry, and locks Receives requests for service maintenance, prioritizes work orders, and handles each in the most efficient manner May perform painting projects ranging from full interior painting of property units to minor touch and repair of walls and woodwork May perform swimming pool maintenance or other facility and/or landscape projects to ensure property aesthetics meet or exceed standards Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and, federal safety rules Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner Demonstrate ability to perform tasks described above without seeking outside contractor assistance
Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues within multifamily residential properties. Additional duties include managing work orders, performing painting projects, and maintaining swimming pools and landscaping.
