Description Devenish Nutrition is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician for our Waterloo, Iowa production facility. This position plays an important role in the daily operation and upkeep of the facility. The primary focus will be maintenance and repair of equipment and building systems, while also assisting in production operations as needed. Working within production helps develop familiarity with the equipment, processes, and overall operation of the facility. Workdays/Hours: Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm (Includes (2) 20-minute paid breaks) Pay: From $20 - $25 per hour – Depending on experience Benefits: · Health insurance · Health savings account with company contribution · 401(k) with matching · Dental insurance · Vision insurance · STD & LTD covered by company · Employee assistance program · Company paid Life insurance · Voluntary Life, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity · Paid Holidays · Paid time off Primary Responsibilities: · Perform repairs and maintenance on production and building equipment · Complete preventative maintenance procedures and schedules · Troubleshoot motors, drives, conveyors, and related equipment · Ensure equipment and facilities meet safety, security, and fire standards · Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) · Assist with general facility, equipment, and grounds upkeep · Operate a variety of hand and power tools · Assist with production duties as directed by the Plant Manager · Support overall plant operations and company goals as needed Requirements Preferred Skills and Qualifications: · Industrial maintenance experience: 1 year (Preferred) · Manufacturing or production facility experience preferred · Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability · Experience using hand and power tools · Forklift experience preferred · Ability to work independently with limited supervision · Strong attention to detail and reliability · Commitment to workplace safety · Excellent attendance and dependability required · Longevity in previous employment is a plus Must be able to frequently lift, drag, and pull up to 50-75lbs in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment and building systems to ensure operational efficiency. Assist with general facility upkeep and support production operations as directed by the Plant Manager.
