Maintenance Technician Location: Sikeston, MO Level: Hourly Reports to: Department Manager Schedule: Day Shift Description: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance and minor repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, mechanical (conveying systems, etc.) and other building systems. They will be responsible for performing various jobs inside and outside the warehouse to keep the equipment, forklifts, reach trucks, tuggers, building and grounds in proper working order. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing required safety inspections/ tests (safety audit items/ fire pump/ suppression systems), periodic equipment inspections (dock levelers, air compressor(s), etc.) and working with contractor services on jobs beyond their scope of work. Candidate(s) will also be required to track maintenance activities/ work orders using business systems such as Google Sheets and Softeon. Competitive rates and compensation package. Full-time positions begin at $21.90 /hour with regular increases to $30.40 /hour. First shift operation, holidays off, no weekends. Note: There may be some varied hours and days required to work given business needs.
