Description This Position is for 2nd Shift (6:00PM-6:30AM) Purpose: To perform maintenance functions for company buildings, equipment and machinery. A Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping company machinery/equipment in working order, including routine preventative measures, and the installation of new or replacement machinery/equipment as necessary in order to maximize productivity and safety. Essential Duties: · Performs electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs. · Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled. · Maintains building repairs including storage buildings, water tower, exterior lighting. · Assists in the development of building of new equipment such as assembly machines, special fixtures and production support equipment. · Performs special assignments as delegated. · At times, may be required to work at heights above ground level. · Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Materials Leader/Supervisor/Manager. Requirements Education / Skill / Experience: · High School graduate minimum or equivalent, 2-yr associate degree preferred. · Must have at least 5 years' experience in Electrical machine panel build and repair · At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing automotive environment. · Must be a qualified and experienced maintenance professional with excellent electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics skills. Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. · Must be physically able to do strenuous work. · Experienced in the usage of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and Fanuc preferred.
