Our St. Marys, OH location is seeking an Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate would be willing to learn, is dependable and would work well on a team. Are you ready to shape the future with us? THE POSITION · The Electrician performs electrical work as directed and required throughout the plant, trouble shoots and fabricates electrical equipment. May operate in a confined space. Employee must be able to operate all types of electrical tools and meters, forklift, aerial life, diagnostic instruments, hoist, other hand tools, and computer. · Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. · Read blueprints and follow diagrams of circuits and wiring and use many different hand and diagnostic tools in testing and fixing equipment. ·Troubleshoot electrical issues and lead repair · Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. · Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment. ·Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
