The Maintenance Technician is responsible for a wide range of daily duties including inspection, maintenance, and repair of Vehicles equipment and systems and documentation of such tasks; all while maintaining safety, productivity and financial responsibility. Responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Conducts daily inspections & completes maintenance inspection logs. Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees. Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies. Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training / technical degree a plus. 1+ years' maintenance / mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Mandatory overtime when necessary. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
