Description
Maintain equipment uptime for production and facility equipment. Operate scissor lift and manual / electrical pallet jacks Troubleshoot and repair down equipment Develop preventative maintenance and repair procedures Collaborate with production, process engineering, maintenance team members and outside vendors to complete maintenance work orders and improvement projects Perform hazardous material handling tasks according to company procedures in compliance with state regulations Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, including kaizen events, problem solving, and daily management Perform 5S tasks to maintain a clean, organized work area. Able to read, understand and apply knowledge of drawings, schematics, and technical manuals Has basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and vacuum system maintenance and repair techniques Is comfortable working with electrical systems up to 480V using proper PPE and LOTO practices Has familiarity with various electronic measurement devices (such as: DMM, Ammeter, Oscilloscope) Has knowledge of LOTO procedures for locking out all potential sources of energy Has basic computer skills Has high school diploma or equivalent degree Has minimum 2+ years of practical maintenance experience working with production equipment (preferably CNC) Able to operate scissor lift, pallet jack, and lift truck Able to wear PPE for respiratory, eye, skin, and hearing protection Able to use hands and fingers fully, reach for, manipulate, and feel objects Able to climb and maintain body balance on ladder Able to see and hear well (either naturally or with correction) Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lay, bend and squat
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment uptime for production and facility equipment, troubleshooting and repairing down equipment, and developing preventative maintenance procedures. They will collaborate with various teams to complete maintenance work orders and participate in Total Productive Maintenance activities.
