Founders 3 Management Company and F3 Marina is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the Halifax Marina. The preferred work schedule for this position 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekends required. Responsibilities include: Routine Maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting: Inspect and maintain the docks, piers, dock lighting, security systems and other marine structures. Conduct preventive maintenance. Assist groundskeepers with overall curb appeal of the property. Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs as needed. Boat Handling and Customer Service: Assist boat owners with docking, launching, and mooring their vessels. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections of marina facilities and equipment. Assist in emergency response procedures, including fire safety and first aid. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess: · Experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field · Knowledge of boat handling techniques and marina operations, preferred · Proficiency in using hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs. · Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. · Excellent communication and customer service skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. · Valid driver’s license Founders 3 is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
