The ideal candidate for this position would have knowledge in a wide variety of maintenance-related fields to ensure a safe working environment, increase productivity, and ensure accuracy. Freshpack is a custom cheese packaging company that develops and innovates cheese products and packaging. Our products can be found in all 50 states and in most major retailers. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown from 15 to 230+ employees. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we are poised for substantial growth over the next 3-5 years. Duties/Responsibilities Understanding of electrical including primary and control circuits Pneumatics Ladder logic/Programming Electrical installation and repairs Mechanical skills Blueprint reading Excellent communication and organizational skills Computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc. Tig welding Experience with sanitary design Troubleshoot, repair, and address root cause of machine deficiencies Building maintenance Assist in training Machine Operators New equipment installs and setup Monitor machines during production Maintain machinery per specifrications Suggest/improve equipment operations Requirements Schedule 4:00pm - 2:30am M-Th, overtime on Fridays as needed when production is running Benefits Medical, dental, vision, company-provided life insurance & more! 401(k) program Referral program Get paid every Friday!
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and addressing root causes of machine deficiencies while ensuring a safe working environment. They will also assist in training Machine Operators and monitor machines during production.
