Description Maintenance Technician – Full-Time, 2nd Shift and Weekends Required Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Maintenance Technician and help keep our resort running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone skilled in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple systems. Position Details Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 2nd shift, weekend availability required Department: Engineering / Maintenance What You’ll Do Complete maintenance work orders and service requests across the property Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems Repair and maintain equipment (heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc.) Perform light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed Prepare basic labor and material estimates for maintenance projects Monitor and maintain pool systems, including chemical adjustments and filtration Respond to emergency maintenance situations Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow removal Support team training and follow all safety procedures Requirements What We’re Looking For Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred Experience in one or more areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Basic computer skills Valid driver’s license required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Work Environment & Physical Requirements Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and use of tools Ability to lift and move equipment as needed Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions Fast-paced, high-volume resort environment About Lake Lawn Resort Located on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier destination known for exceptional guest service and well-maintained facilities.
