Description Maintenance - Maintenance Technician Department: Maintenance Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly Shift: 3rd shift, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility operations across our entire campus. This role is responsible for a wide range of maintenance, repair, and security tasks that ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent overall troubleshooting ability across multiple disciplines, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and building controls. Training will begin on 1st shift to gain familiarity with our buildings and systems before transitioning to a permanent 3rd shift schedule. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs across all hospital buildings and grounds Respond to a variety of facility needs, including mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance tasks Ensure facility security during overnight hours Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance across all assigned areas Collaborate with the facilities team and other departments as needed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field Strong preference towards candidates that are experienced working in hospitals. Our hospital environment involves a wide variety of systems and equipment, far beyond what can be covered in traditional detailed training programs. New challenges are encountered regularly, so the right candidate must thrive in this environment by applying strong fundamentals, resourcefulness, and critical thinking. Strong mechanical aptitude and general repair skills Problem-solving ability with minimal supervision Willingness to learn and apply new maintenance and repair techniques Valid Ohio driver’s license required Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
