Our team is dedicated to maintaining well-kept communities and ensuring high-quality service to residents and board members alike. Position Summary May Management Services is seeking a reliable and hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Person to support the upkeep and appearance of our managed communities in the Palm Coast area. The ideal candidate will have broad general maintenance experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing quality service in a professional and timely manner. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work. Conduct regular inspections of community common areas, amenities, and equipment to identify issues and maintenance needs. Porter duties including trash pick-up and routine property walks. Assist with landscaping and exterior maintenance tasks, including light tree trimming, power washing, and debris removal. Maintain and repair community facilities such as pools, clubhouses, and playgrounds. Respond promptly to service requests and work orders as assigned. Identify and report safety hazards or urgent maintenance issues to management. Maintain an organized and clean workspace, including proper care of tools, equipment, and supplies. Communicate professionally with residents, HOA board members, and vendors as needed. Requirements Requirements, Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Work Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Full-Time; flexible hours based on community needs (some weekends may be required). Compensation: Range of $18-$20 Hourly based on YOE.
