Description
Schedules and carries out refreshing of office and manufacturing areas throughout the site based on availability and need. This refreshing is to include potential drywall repairs, trim/molding replacement, caulking, fixture adjustments and painting. Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, and refilling non-toxic refrigerants. Assemble devices received in kit form such as furniture and shelving units. Periodic machine lubrication, coolant changes and chip removal per schedule. Provides support and back up for other members of department as needed by leadership. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in drywall, repair & painting AND/OR minimum of one (1) year of experience in HVAC maintenance. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.” Minimum of two (2) years of experience in drywall, repair & painting AND/OR minimum of two (2) years of experience in HVAC maintenance. Position Criteria Complies with all national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies by driving EBS/World class workforce initiatives such as ISO14001 and/or applicable regional initiatives. Ability to proactively work with other team members under limited supervision. This position requires standing and/or walking for an entire eight - twelve hours. Ability to comprehend and follow technical standards and maintenance procedures. Knowledge of operating lift truck, material handling equipment, man lifts and hand tools. Flexibility in shiftwork may be required to perform work at times when area is not occupied. Ability to lift 35 lbs.
