We are currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our expanding and fast-paced operations team.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing, utility, and facility equipment in line with SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP guidelines.
Troubleshoot and repair fill-finish and packaging equipment used in pharmaceutical production.
Partner with other departments to identify and implement reliability improvements.
Plan and complete scheduled maintenance activities in coordination with the production timetable.
Support and guide production teams on equipment setup, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
Manage vendor services for equipment maintenance and calibration in a GMP-compliant manner.
Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop corrective action plans.
Ensure electrical, utility, and process systems are maintained in a compliant and safe state.
Promote a strong safety culture through active participation in safety programs and investigations.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance actions in the company’s QMS.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new production and facility equipment.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure regulatory standards are met.
Perform and record equipment calibrations, and promptly address any deviations.
Monitor and manage critical spare parts and consumables to reduce downtime.
Adhere to permit-to-work and other engineering safety systems while performing duties.
Qualifications & Experience:
A relevant engineering qualification or time-served technical apprenticeship.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated GMP setting, preferably within drug product fill, finish, or packaging.
Solid knowledge of reliability engineering, safety protocols, and maintenance systems.
Hands-on experience with automated equipment and production line troubleshooting.
