Description Full-Time | Nashua, NH Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of agency facilities and grounds. This role performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that buildings, equipment, and systems are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Facilities team and contributes to a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for staff and clients. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks across agency locations. Troubleshoot and repair building systems including plumbing, HVAC, roofs, drains, and general equipment. Complete carpentry, painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, and basic locksmith services. Carry out landscaping and snow removal duties as needed. Perform routine and specialized janitorial tasks to maintain facility cleanliness. Use the electronic work order system to manage tasks and document completed work. Assist with preventative maintenance schedules for facility systems. Support interoffice mail delivery and coordination of packages between locations. Work occasional evenings or weekends to complete time-sensitive projects. Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Perform additional maintenance-related duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1–2 years of maintenance or related experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems.
