Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in our Manufacturing Plant. The incumbent is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on major systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical lines, while responding to breakdowns of print machinery quickly. The ideal candidate for this role must understand the technical aspects of the property and all equipment, support day-to-day operations, ensure efficient operation of facilities, mitigate risk, and ensure that facilities meet the needs of a rapidly growing business. Position Responsibilities: Strong mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Knowledge of installation and management of HVAC, plumbing and electrical services. Service, repair, adjust, and test equipment that operate based on mechanical and electronic principles Conduct regular tests and inspections of machines and processes to evaluate quality and performance. Inspect equipment, structures, circuits, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Identify issues by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events. Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources, including machine operators and service contract providers. Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Maintain a scheduled maintenance routine on each machine and teach the operators to how to take care of the equipment.
