OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team, focusing exclusively on commercial properties across Sydney. This full-time role runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available on certain projects. The position involves a wide range of maintenance, repair, and minor installation tasks to keep commercial facilities safe, functional, and well-presented.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in commercial property maintenance or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, sealing, and general building repairs.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
  • White Card – Mandatory
  • Driver’s Licence – Mandatory

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on commercial buildings, offices, and retail sites across Sydney.
  • Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, sealing, and other non-licensed works.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Install and maintain fixtures, fittings, and building hardware as required.
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests during normal hours and occasionally after hours.
  • Ensure all work complies with workplace safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and recommendations for future repairs.
  • Communicate with site supervisors, facility managers, and other contractors as needed.
