Description Summary of Primary Duties: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time (as needed/on-call) Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair needs of our residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facility. This position is responsible for completing both minor and larger residential maintenance and repair projects to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. This is an as-needed position with flexible hours based on facility needs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the residential facility Complete minor repairs including plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, appliance repair, and basic electrical work Assist with larger repair and improvement projects as needed Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations Maintain clean and organized work areas Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors when necessary Assist with seasonal maintenance and emergency repair situations Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Previous maintenance, handyman, or residential repair experience preferred Knowledge of general maintenance practices including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently Strong time management and communication skills Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed Requirements Must have reliable transportation Must possess and maintain personal tools necessary to complete assigned work Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including a drug screening. Candidates must pass the required drug test prior to beginning employment and may be subject to additional screenings in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations. Failure to successfully complete the drug screening process will result in withdrawal of the employment offer or termination of employment eligibility. Must be dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality in a healthcare environment Schedule: Part-Time / As Needed / On-Call Flexible schedule based on facility needs Work Environment: This position works within a residential behavioral health treatment setting and may require interaction with residents, staff, and outside vendors while maintaining professional boundaries and a respectful environment.
