ALSCO UNIFORMS is HIRING - for MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Location: HONOLULU, HI $25 hourly Average First Year Earnings: $52,000 Full-Time Monday - Friday Day Shift - 8 hours a day An Alsco Uniforms Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs large-scale industrial textile processing and facility equipment. The hands-on role involves preventative maintenance, 3-phase electrical diagnostics, pneumatics, and boiler operations. Compensation typically ranges from $25/hour or $60,000 to $80,000 annually depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance: Execute preventative and unscheduled repairs on industrial laundry equipment, boilers, and water systems to minimize production downtime. [1, 2] Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair 230-volt/3-phase electrical systems and use programmable logic controllers (PLCs). [1] Facility upkeep: Perform welding, cutting, plumbing, and general facility repairs while maintaining maintenance documentation. [1, 2, 3] Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols, operating forklifts, and working in confined or elevated spaces as needed. Core Requirements Minimum of 2–3 years of maintenance engineering experience, particularly with industrial machinery, electronics, and hydraulics. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using power/hand tools. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods, and push heavy carts.
