Maintenance Technician – HOA/COA Communities Location: Columbus Association District | Columbus, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm + on-call rotation Pay: $26–$30/hour (based on experience) About the Role This is a skilled, hands-on maintenance position supporting multiple HOA and COA communities across Central Ohio. You will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain common areas, buildings, and exterior structures. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working across multiple trades rather than routine unit turns. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and service requests across multiple communities Complete carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs Repair gutters, downspouts, doors, gates, wood trim, siding, and exterior features Work safely on ladders, roofs, and exterior structures Respond to on-call emergencies as scheduled Interact professionally with homeowners, Board members, and vendors Prioritize work orders and manage time independently Required Qualifications 2–3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (property, facilities, or similar) Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple locations Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and exterior maintenance Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions Own basic hand tools Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (required for work travel) Preferred (Not Required) HOA, COA, or multifamily maintenance experience Why You’ll Love Working at Towne 401(k) with generous company match Health, Dental, Vision, and FSA options Paid holidays, vacation, and sick/personal time Award-winning training through Towne University Career growth opportunities into senior or leadership roles Energage Top Workplace (2018–2025) Grow With Us This role can lead to advanced technician or leadership positions for those who demonstrate skill, reliability, and initiative.
