What We are Looking For: Bender Companies is looking for an experienced real estate professional to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. Ideal candidates should be hard-working, reliable, honest, and excited to join the team. Organizational and maintenance skills are required. Candidates must also be self-motivated and be able to take direction well. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23-$26 per hour Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday On Call Weekends as needed Here are some things that will make you successful: Reliable transportation to get to work Excellent interpersonal skills Valid Driver's License Property maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) What you will be doing: As a Maintenance Technician you will be tasked with the upkeep and maintenance of our property. In this role you will be working closely with the technician team to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner, as well as keeping residents up to date and informed throughout the maintenance process. Core responsibilities include: Maintain grounds free of trash, leaves, and broken branches. Ensure completion of all service requests, work orders, and other tasks as assigned. Inspect the community on an ongoing basis, recording, and correcting deficiencies. Help conduct ongoing preventative maintenance Deliver notices to residents Responsible for being on-call in the event of an emergency Other duties as assigned Where you will work: This position will require you to work on-site at our property in Hoffman Estates. Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the property, ensuring work orders are completed in a timely manner. You will also inspect the community regularly and assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
