Company Description Nestled along the sweeping banks of the majestic Kafue River, Anantara Kafue River Lodge invites you to be part of an extraordinary safari destination set in one of Africa’s last truly untouched wilderness regions. We are looking for skilled HVAC/Electrical Technicians to support cooling, heating, and electrical systems across the camp. Job Description Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC & electrical systems in commercial and residential settings Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, chillers, and boilers Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in lighting, power distribution, and control systems Conduct energy efficiency checks and recommend improvements to reduce energy consumption Respond to emergency maintenance needs promptly and efficiently Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts and supplies Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth operations of facilities Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC and electrical systems Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all maintenance and repair activities Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices Participate in on-call rotations to address after-hours emergencies as needed Qualifications Qualifications: Diploma or Certification in HVAC or electrical engineering required Valid HVAC technician license and/or Journeyman Electrician license Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and electrical systems maintenance and repair Strong knowledge of building automation systems and energy management Familiarity with local and national building codes and safety regulations Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies Experience working in hospitality or remote locations is a plus Additional Information Full grade twelve school certificate.
