Maintenance Technician – HVAC Specialist

We’re seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with a strong HVAC background to support day-to-day operations across our community. What You’ll Do
•
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
•
Perform general property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair
•
Respond to resident service requests with a customer-first approach, especially for climate control issues
•
Conduct routine HVAC inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance
•
Support unit turnovers and assist with property-wide inspections
•
Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow removal and landscaping
•
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs
•
Partner with property leadership to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
•
Minimum 2 years of HVAC service and maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings
•
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills across a variety of HVAC systems
•
General understanding of property maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical systems
•
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
•
A respectful, resident-focused demeanor, especially in senior or affordable housing communities
Preferred Qualifications
•
Familiarity with apartment maintenance procedures or multi-site operations
•
Proficiency with hand tools, testing meters, and basic building controls
•
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
