Description Seeking a Maintenance Technician for Freedom Park Apartments. Responsibilities: Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner Paint and pick up grounds Painting Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas Provide residents with outstanding customer service Requirements: At least 2 plus of onsite experience Possess valid Identification Full Time Position Benefits: Base plus Commission 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Requirements Make-Ready Duties & Responsibilities Trash-Out: Remove all remaining furniture, trash, and debris left behind by the previous resident. Full Inspection: Check all walls, flooring, windows, doors, and locks for damage or excessive wear. Appliance Testing: Verify that the refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave operate correctly and safely. Plumbing Check: Inspect faucets, toilets, and showers for leaks, clear any drains, and replace worn washers. Electrical & Lighting: Test all outlets light switches, and ceiling fans, and replace any burnt-out bulbs. Preventative & Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections of facilities, machinery, and systems. This includes lubricating parts, changing filters, and testing alarms. General Repairs: Fix or replace broken fixtures, switches, wiring, and pipes. Handle building upkeep like painting, patching drywall, and repairing doors or locks. Emergency Response: Address urgent maintenance issues promptly, which sometimes involves being on-call for after-hours or weekend emergencies. Record Keeping: Document completed work orders, track labor hours, and maintain service logs for equipment and vehicles Inventory Management: Track usage of tools and supplies, and notify management when parts need to be ordered. Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all repairs and building codes meet local workplace health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
