JOB DESCRIPTION Maintenance Technician I – Full-Time Pay: Starting at $21.00/hr. Joining our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant such as preventative maintenance, routine servicing, plumbing, repairs, and changes of building equipment. Who you are: * Someone who has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (this position drives a golf cart) * Work as a team member in a structured working environment. * Complete work on time and done right. * Proven experience as maintenance technician * Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems, general maintenance processes and methods * Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices * Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills * Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field a plus * Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) desired PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Moderate to heavy physical effort; may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain); work in area with high voltage electricity, hazardous equipment and moving parts; work on roof top and other high places; ability to set up and climb ladders safely with tools and equipment necessary for assigned work; must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to walk, stand and stoop for an extended period of time (over 80% of the time); exposure to a variety of chemicals and dust daily; may be exposed to the HBV and HIV viruses.
