Be part of a Maintenance Technician where together we can ensure safe operations while maximizing equipment efficiency and effectiveness Where You’ll Make a Difference This individual is responsible for troubleshooting issues, repair failures, and preventative maintenance of production and facilities equipment. All responsibilities will be performed while complying with company policies, goals, and objectives of the Rochester site. Perform highly diversified duties to maintain production machines and plant facility equipment Perform regular preventative and predictive maintenance task on machines, equipment, and plant facilities including compressors, chillers, HVAC, steam, condensate equipment, etc. Perform emergency/ unscheduled repairs of complex production equipment during production to return equipment back to running order in minimal time Calibrate Instrumentation Responsible to complete training and perform qualified individual tasks according to site policies. What Makes You the Right Fit Ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Document any modifications on as-built set of drawings (not CADD’d) Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records, work order completion, charging of time & spare parts, etc. Identify parts and material required for the task. Maintains contact for suppliers and vendors for equipment support What Makes You the Right Fit Obtain college degree or High school diploma with a minimum of three years of manufacturing experience Have a minimum of 2-3 years of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical repairs. Must be willing and able to support call-ins. Ability to do moderate lifting, walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, climb, and kneel throughout shift Able to use protective equipment including safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, respiratory protection, hearing protection, lift protection, etc. Must be able to work in various locations such as heights, confined enclosed spaces, etc. Must be able to work in various conditions such as hot, cold, snowy, etc. How Would You Stand Out? Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products Ability to learn SAP and other site systems Willing to attend/ learn safety training, lockout tagout, fork truck, scissor lift, respirator training, etc. Ability to interact with wide range of co-workers as well as contractors and suppliers in a professional manner.
