Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician II to join our team. This role is responsible for the troubleshooting and intermediate repair of apartment and public area equipment along with the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of semi-skilled tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities * Performs all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer's recommendations. * Perform mid-level plumbing work, including isolation valve replacement, mixing valves, shut-off valves, pressure balancing, and leak diagnostics. * Perform mid-level troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, including unit diagnosis, airflow issues, controls, thermostats, relays, contactors, and mechanical components. * Perform mid-level electrical work including troubleshooting circuits, ballasts, drivers, motors, switches, sensors, and control wiring (within non-licensed scope). * Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repair including campus snow removal. What We’re Looking For * High school diploma or GED required. * Minimum 3 years of experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, etc. required. * HVAC experience preferred. * Dependable attendance and punctuality. * Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
