Description GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician II in Downtown, Fresno, CA, come join a dynamic property management team! In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance functions throughout the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office spaces, grounds, and parking lots. Your work will help maintain the property in accordance with ownership and management objectives. This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The pay for this position is $21.00-22.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards. Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards. Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management. Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as needed Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items Report violations of lease and house rules Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies Maintaining excellent curb appeal Grounds Help maintaining excellent curb appeal GSF Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Employee assistance program 401K Life insurance Holidays Vacation To learn more about GSF Properties, please visit our website at https://www.gsfpi.com/ Requirements Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician II: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Able to work as a team and independently Ability to follow directions, handle constructive criticism and able to communicate well Reliable transportation Valid CA driver's license Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm On-call as needed basis
