Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician II Pay: Up to $31/hour depending on skills and experience Schedule: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time Monday- Friday, OT could be offered but not promised. People-first culture that invests in your growth and development Work alongside skilled technicians in a collaborative, safety-driven environment Hands-on work that directly impacts customer operations and productivity Career stability with a proven leader in industrial maintenance services Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and workplace safety What You’ll Do: Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems, including HVAC systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and plumbing Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime Assist with installation, setup, calibration, and testing of new equipment and machinery Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities Work with senior technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve maintenance processes Replace worn or damaged parts such as belts, bearings, seals, and valves Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements, adjustments, or replacements Assist with emergency repairs while following all safety procedures and protocols Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools Participate in safety audits and inspections, identifying hazards and recommending improvements Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when needed Requirements Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate’s degree preferred) 3+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment Proficiency using maintenance tools including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and vibration analyzers Strong understanding of preventive maintenance strategies Knowledge of safety practices including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and hazardous material handling Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance tasks and work orders Strong written and verbal communication skills Desired Qualifications: Certifications in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (EPA, OSHA, or similar) Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), or industrial control systems Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance environments Familiarity with project management or maintenance scheduling software Physical & Work Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and using power tools Ability to work flexible hours when needed, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with maintenance technologies and best practices Benefits: Paid time off and 10 paid holidays per year, with carryover of unused vacation Company-provided uniforms Discounts on cell phones, travel, and more Employee Assistance Program available from day one Tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 per year (program approval required) 401(k) and Roth IRA options after 6 months Employee-Owned Stock Option Program after 6 months (company-funded) Equal Opportunity: Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
