I. JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician III is a senior-level technician and subject matter expert within the Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for leading complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and high-level repairs on plant equipment and systems. A Tech III demonstrates advanced technical knowledge across all maintenance disciplines and plays a key role in mentoring Tech I and Tech II staff, driving continuous improvement, and supporting equipment reliability strategies across the facility. This role requires independent decision-making, leadership on projects, and collaboration with both the Maintenance Manager and cross-functional departments.   II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   · Lead advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems. · Serve as a lead technician on critical repair work and major equipment overhauls. · Coordinate and execute predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize unplanned downtime. · Mentor and provide hands-on training to Tech I and Tech II team members. · Support planning and execution of capital improvement projects and equipment installations. · Collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve equipment performance and reliability. · Perform precision alignment, calibration, and instrumentation tasks. · Interpret complex technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. · Lead root cause failure analysis and implement long-term corrective actions. · Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety and environmental standards. · Manage CMMS documentation for critical repairs and equipment history tracking. · Support spare parts identification and procurement through collaboration with Maintenance Planner or Inventory Coordinator. · Recommend and help implement process improvements and standard work instructions.     III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:   Education:   High School Diploma or equivalent is required Technical certification, or associate degree in a related field preferred. Experience: At least 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience is preferred V. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:   Typical Working Conditions:  Manufacturing warehouse environment Equipment Used: Industrial Machines (wood working) Essential Physical Tasks: (List all physical tasks encountered in performing essential functions.)
