Phenomenal opportunity to join our Maintenance team at Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville, VA! As a Maintenance Tech III you would be responsible for maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, back of the areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Our Facilities Department operates 7 days per week. Maintenance Team Members may work varying shifts and holidays. Responsibilities include: Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership. Assist other maintenance staff on special projects. Accurate documentation in English is necessary for logs and inspection sheets. Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown and popcorn ceilings. Repairs boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning. Other duties as assigner by your leader. What are we looking for? To fulfill this role effectively, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance and repair, preferably within a hotel or resort environment. Valid Driver’s License. Proven HVAC expertise with current certification. Able to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet; push and pull up to 100 lbs; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; and perform tasks requiring grasping, stooping, and overhead reaching—with or without reasonable accommodations. Preferred Certifications: Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification.
