Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Industrial Millwright
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Industrial Millwright or Maintenance technician or Millwright Apprentice with at least 6000-8,000 hours of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to operate man lifts and forklifts.
  • Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

A leading facility specializing in heavy equipment operations is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright Mechanic to join the maintenance team on the night shift. The role focuses on ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency through effective troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues while maintaining high operational standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as per established procedures.
  • Provide technical support to junior technicians.
  • Operate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Weld, cut, and fabricate parts as required.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and lifting devices safely.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, following all safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and related equipment systems.
