Maintenance Technician
Location: Ivinson Memorial Home for Ladies – Laramie, WY
Position Type: Part-Time Wednesday - Sunday
About the Role:
Ivinson Memorial Home for Ladies is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our senior residents. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, understands the needs of residential care facilities, and enjoys working both indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine level and preventive maintenance assignments throughout the facility via the home work order system
• Ensure all building systems meet state and local codes and regulations
• Complete repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance services
• Assist with groundskeeping tasks including lawn care, snow removal, sprinkler system care and general outdoor maintenance (curb appeal)
• Respond to maintenance requests from the Director in a timely, respectful manner
• Coordinate with outside contractors when needed and ensure compliance with safety home’s standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order data, including safety documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential facilities maintenance
• Familiarity with state and local building codes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic computer skills for logging work and communication
• Must be available to work weekends and after-hours for emergencies
