This technician will support production by performing scheduled and unplanned maintenance on building and machinery at the Mentor Medical System Leiden Site as well as independently locate and eliminate faults to equipment and plant. The maintenance technician will also be responsible for cleaning the pumping equipment and cooperate in the field of process improvements and special projects.

• Secondary Vocational Education (direction Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
• VCA (Full)

• Maintenance and repair of machines, installations and buildings.
• Keep track of administration (planning and priorities) on maintenance and repairs.
• Cooperate in implementing improvements in the manufacturing process.
• Support in the field of tool manufacture.
• Independently searches and eliminates faults to all applicable equipment and plants at Mentor and carry out the breakdown service.
• Review and evaluates overall effectiveness of maintenance programs and process operations.
• Anticipate maintenance problems associated with installation of manufacturing equipment and other utility equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance and ensure permits are maintained in compliance with GMPs, safety and health regulations.
• Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support Facilities/Sodexo during outside office hours with magnehelic monitoring, calling Sodexo hotline in case of emergencies etc.
• Support Calibration/Validation with verifications and technical aspects during day to day work and support Engineering during validations, process optimizations and improvements
