Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for facility and equipment maintenance, inspections and providing maximum service to customers. Additional responsibilities include promoting company and branch location employee cohesiveness through effective communication, teamwork, shared services, and by following safety policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.) Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing requests for repairs and maintenance in a professional and efficient manner. Demonstrate a strong understanding of facility operations, equipment, and safe maintenance practices and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve facility and equipment issues by performing repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, welding, concrete work, housekeeping, transportation, carpentry, and equipment operations. Conduct regular inspections of all facilities and equipment to monitor performance and identify areas for maintenance. Possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to work in high, confined, or challenging spaces. Complete all required paperwork accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety protocols, industry standards, and government regulations. Provide excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations with professionalism; respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and ensure commitments are met. Demonstrate a clear understanding of department operations, collaborating across departments to support company goals and objectives. Participate in ongoing training opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge. Attend safety meetings and training sessions to stay informed and compliant with safety standards. Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with customers, employees, and management. Maintain and promote safety awareness by following established safety policies, procedures, and reporting protocols. Adhere to all state and federal laws, codes, and regulations. Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times. Ensure regular and punctual attendance. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with energy products preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS Valid driver’s license with safe driving record Forklift certification
