Roles and Responsibilities: Coordinate equipment repairs of Service Life Extension Program SLEP equipment on LCU Troubleshoot and repair of vessel SLEP equipment Assist Army maintainers with maintenance on SLEP equipment Work closely with logistics to order parts and equipment Complete maintenance faults and tracks faults to closeout Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or process engineering (Additional 8 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree) 2 to 4 years related engineering experience or Army Watercraft experience At least 4 years of Ship Repair experience or Shipboard experience in Army/Naval Service. Must be experienced and knowledge with all facets of Integrated Support for shipboard Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Systems (HM&E), Electronics Systems, Combat Systems or marine systems. Must have a working knowledge of Army watercraft Standard items, General Specs for Overhaul of Surface Ships and familiarity with Army Ship Tech Manual. Candidates must be a citizen of the United States of America and be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). Preferred Qualifications: Have the ability to read and interpret various ship drawings for SLEP Systems, Electronics Systems or Combat Systems.
