JOB DESCRIPTION Maintenance Technician – Unit Turns & Plumbing Experience Required This role is centered on completing apartment make-readies (unit turns) and supporting general maintenance across our Jackson, MS properties, with a strong emphasis on plumbing knowledge. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Complete apartment make-readies from start to finish. * Perform general repairs including minor carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall, and hardware installation. * Complete basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, disposals, supply lines). * Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches). * Ensure units are fully functional, clean, and move-in ready. * Respond to work orders and document work through digital systems. * Maintain organized and safe maintenance areas. REQUIREMENTS * 2–3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience. * Strong make-ready / unit turn experience required. * Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems. * Trade experience in plumbing or electrical preferred. * Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - is a must. * Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in varied conditions. * Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools. * Employment contingent upon successful background screening.
