THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Industrial Electrician) to support a highly automated customer site in Mulgrave. This is a fixed-term role through to August 2026, working night shift on a rotating 12-hour roster (7 shifts per fortnight, including some weekends). You will provide preventative maintenance and breakdown support across industry-leading automation equipment including Cross belt sorter, conveyors and racking, helping minimise downtime and improve system reliability. Tasks and Qualifications: WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs • Preventative maintenance and equipment audits • PLC, drives and control system troubleshooting • Replacement of electrical components (contactors, relays, field devices) • Mechanical maintenance including belts, bearings, chains, motors and gearboxes • Identify and implement improvement opportunities ABOUT YOU – WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • Unrestricted Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence • Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or higher) • Proven experience in industrial maintenance environments • Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical aptitude • Understanding of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and industrial controls • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics • Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport Desirable: • PLC experience (Siemens S7 / SCADA – training provided) • Automation or conveyor systems experience • CMMS experience (MEX preferred) HOW TO APPLY If you would like to apply for the above position, please click on the 'Apply for this job' button and submit your resume.
