JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Non-Exempt Position REPORTS TO: Production Engineering Manager DEPARTMENT: Maintenance BASIC FUNCTION: Entry level Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of all production machinery and equipment in Manheim and Elizabethtown facilities. GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform all routine preventative maintenance to production & facility equipment at both facilities. * Troubleshoot and perform required repairs to production & facility equipment at both facilities. * Manage PM Coordinator maintenance software to maintain proper records of maintenance program. * Installation of new and existing equipment * Work with outside vendors and service providers to accomplish required tasks. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician * Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and other systems * Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods * Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, powered tools, and floor scrubbers * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills * Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills * Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Occasional bending, squatting, and lifting. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. * Demonstrate a positive attitude. * Build business relationships primarily around good, solid, and courteous service, followed by individual rapport. Avoid excuses or negative explanations. * Conduct all interactions with customers, vendors, field sales co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous, and respectful manner. * Regular attendance is an essential element of the job.
