Description Maintenance Technician will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities: Follow all safety standards at all times Respond to various equipment conditions, analyzes the situation for root cause, and applies the appropriate skill to resolve the issue Perform quality checks and record data as required Be a self-starter - demonstrate initiative to identify and apply solutions to remove roadblocks Demonstrate ownership and willingness to continuously improve self and area of accountability that will enhance safety, quality, organization, and productivity Make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standard Maintain equipment cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas Other duties as assigned Requirements We are looking for: Must have a H.S. diploma or an educational equivalent and an appropriate mix of training, education and experience with progressive employment experience in Mechanical Maintenance. Two (2) or more years of experience as a skilled tradesperson, working in a manufacturing/industrial setting a Plus Strong verbal and written communication is required Knowledge and experience with: Pneumatic valves, hydraulic systems, electrical, motors and control systems, and various sensing devices. Knowledge of Personal Computers. Knowledge of Hass CNC Machines, SOCO, Horn, Eagle, Tube Laser and Flat Laser a Plus Knowledgeable and competent in safety disciplines stipulated by OSHA. Knowledge of HVAC systems Work independently with minimal supervision. Welding, fabricating & machining a Plus Be willing to work overtime as needed. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders. Able to lift 50 lbs. Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision. Must be available to work 10 hour shifts Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and abilities
