ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join the team that keeps the Darling Downs Power Station operating safely and efficiently and perform as one of Australia’s most efficient power generation sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolve defects whilst maintaining station performance and meeting operational targets by returning plant to normal operating service.
• Preparing work method statements, risk assessment and / or plant operating instructions ensuring the required level of maintenance to asset is achieved and records maintained. This shall also involve preparing work orders, ordering spares and the identification of resources.
• Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities in accordance with agreed procedures and operational requirements to ensure plant is operating safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Participate in major and minor plant and equipment outages.
• Always operate in compliance with all relevant Occupational Health, Safety and Environment legislation, codes of practice, standards, policies, operating procedures, PTW System and work instructions.
