Full Time | Day Shift Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to: Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards. Perform maintenance on electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc. Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems as needed Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality. Inspect alarm systems (fire and protection) and schedule repairs when needed. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.). Assist with pest control activities when needed. Conduct general upkeep procedures such as landscaping and facility maintenance. Perform painting, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks. Assist with maintenance budget preparation and help ensure expenses remain within budget. Maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Other tasks as assigned. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other building systems. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. Experience in painting and installing sheetrock preferred. Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills. Good physical condition and strength with willingness to work overtime and be on call if needed. High school diploma or equivalent required. HVAC certification, building maintenance technology certificate, or related field is a plus. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
