Description The Ambassador of Maintenance is considered critical to the overall success of our community. The Ambassador of Maintenance is responsible for fostering a sense of community by offering an unparalleled living experience for resident and providing excellence in customer service through; maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community; service resident's day-to-day maintenance needs with respect to their apartment homes; provide corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance throughout the community; ensure safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances; perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and floor repairs; assist with apartment turnover preparation; service community equipment, and HVAC systems; and any other duties assigned. Requirements Required Experience 5+ years maintenance experience in individual HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliance, plumbing and electrical systems and repairs, fire safety equipment and repairs. Experience in preparation of apartment turnovers and flooring installations; ability to assist and follow instructions in the performance of all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally and in a timely manner. Initiative, motivation, and ability to continue training to develop skills and attain licenses and certifications. Good organizational and time management skills; good interpersonal skills for communications with residents and third party contractors. CFC - Type 2 may be required. Valid, active driver's license and reliable vehicle
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community, addressing residents' maintenance needs, and ensuring the safe operation of apartment appliances.
